If they do Eberle for Shattenkirk and pay the Nurse for Hamonic bounty.

Hall McDavid (Finns Pick)
Draisaitl Nuge Pouliot

Hamonic Klefbom
Shattenkirk Sekera

They would have a better looking Top 4 and still have a strong Top 6...and could look at moving Nuge and Yak for wingers so they can shift Drai back to C

it will go a long way in helping their perennially poor goaltending...

btw, didn't know about the nurse/harmonic rumor...nurse, to me, looks like a keeper, however

I also feel like the Trade Demand by Harmonic would allow for them not to deal Nurse.

Apparently they were talking about Hamonic at the draft last year before they did the Reinhart trade and the talks were starting with Nurse for him.

I think Nurse is a keeper too, and the Isles want a Dman that can fill Hammers role, the winger or C packages won't get that trade done....but Oilers have to ask do they wait for Nurse and burn seasons in the process or just bite the bullet and get the Dman that will help now even though you might be giving up the better one down the line. Its a tough spot to be in

No matter how many games they lose and how many we win they will finish the year better than us.

But them not making the playoffs would make me happy...therefore...(if so then argument)...if I am happy they miss and Bostonians are unhappy because they miss...then couldn't you be happy that I am happy without being happy that they are sad? Sounds like a win win to me and an easier divisional opponent for the Swords.

I have a hard time believing Eberle gets you Shattenkirk but you never know I guess.

Id like them to not miss and win a lottery spot from the cheap seats. No danger with them at 15. Honestly sweeney looks like he has a touch of button/milbury in him.

I'm not too sure, I know VO was a 2014-15 draft pick so I believe he has one more year, but I can't say I am positive. He was MODO's leading scorer last year, but that team was very very bad.

HE strikes me as a guy who needs several seasons before coming over to NA

7th round picks tend to be that way. I had heard rumblings on here that he could have made the jump this offseason. We will have a lot of competition on the wing next year so I guess is one less decision to make. (AHL not NHL obviously)

Nice Reed B0os. I'm starting too feel torn on getting the good pick and winning out versus decent teams. The Sabres have proven mgt have made some decent moves and it's showing in the play on ice. Just what we expected and hoped. A full season next year and we are a bunch of spots better in the standings..

If the d can take the next step and an addition or 2 we are definitely in the right direction. Playoffs could be a possibility next year.

If he can develop over there and not cost us to lose his rights then that should be the plan.
