Nice Reed B0os. I'm starting too feel torn on getting the good pick and winning out versus decent teams. The Sabres have proven mgt have made some decent moves and it's showing in the play on ice. Just what we expected and hoped. A full season next year and we are a bunch of spots better in the standings..

There is zero correlation between finishing the season strong as a bottom feeder and having it carry over to the next year....... zero. The Sabres have a lot of holes to fill with that roster and it would be a colossal mistake to look at the past 3 weeks of good play and assume we are ready to compete for the division next year by simply a minor tweak or two. Don't be fooled by the BS.

I play in a last man standing pool every NFL season. After I get eliminated, it's sort of satisfying to see big upset games take out chunks of the pool; but that's more about the pool, collectively, than any individual person or identifiable people.

Thank you... Winning now means nothing, momentum doesn't carry over six months until the start of next season. It's nice to see the team winning and doing well, it's been a long time, but there are whole to still fill and a top pick could have gone a long way, now we're settling for 7-9. Top four could have most likely played next year but we'll end up with a guy who will be going back to juniors now because of our meaningless wins. If winning meaningless games at the end of the season and ruining your draft position was a move that set you off on the right foot for the next season then the Bills would be a dynasty team by now.

I hope they continue this strong play to the finish line this year, it will be a great confidence boost for our young guys going into the off season on a high note. Eichel makes this game look effortless, its pretty cool to watch.
