for a 1 time 30 goal scorer? OK, who else
- hubie

A rental in McGinn got the sabres the sabres a 3rd (which could become a 2nd). Any player such as JVR, or someone similar in skill, is going to cost a lot more than a handful of mid round picks.

Depending on the lottery, it wouldn't shock me if our 1st this year is traded at the podium on draft day.

Trading Risto for Hall hurts our team, no matter who the better player is. We just don't have the defensive pieces to be able to make that move. Hall is a good player, and would love to have him, and I know people like to analytical with the stats, but he's a 25 goal, 60 pt guy on a full season. This is what he puts up on a stacked offensive team. I'd be willing to give up our 1st, some bottom six roster players or Ennis, Pysyk, or prospects/picks for him in some combo, but that's about it. A core guy is not going the other way. At the end of the day, I'm not sending three 20 goal guy's and a 1st for one 25 goal guy coming back. Murray can keep shopping, Hall is not the only winger out there.

If I had to guess, I would say "the son of one of Jim's siblings."

Honestly though, they have amassed an insane amount of talent. They'd be foolish to completely blow it up. They need to make a serious move or two, but I wouldn't blow up that roster.

Trade 2 of RNH, Yak, Eberle or Hall. Keep the younger guys. Get a top pairing defender

- sbroads24

I think Yakupov prob wouldn't get that great of a return
If he hadn't requested a trade, I'd say to hang onto him & put him back with McDavid since they had such a good start
He prob gets them a 2nd & a decent vet defenseman, someone like Gorges if the trade were with us

Then u float out the other names u suggest, and see what defenseman teams will be willing to give up for which player

They'd prob prefer to trade RNH, but Hall would likely bring back the best player
Whoever trades for RNH will end up being VERY happy IMO
I like his overall game a lot,
And a new team is exactly what he needs

With Kesler's age (and ability to play on the wing), I think the Ducks should jump all over that

I don't even think Jim Kelly is important let alone one of his siblings or nephews...

Minnesota IMO is a team that needs a #1 center, and has a plethora a D.

A Dumba + Zucker for RNH deal could work

But it will cost to get Hall, just not Risto.

I am surprised that you do not know who Chad is. He is the QB for Ole Miss.

Got kicked out of Clemson.

Major league dbag when he is in town.

I haven't paid any attention to college ball in a few years... The radio/tv/billboards/etc has annoyed the poop out of me because of the SEC love affair.
Basically stopped watching all of colleges sports, thats how annoying it is.

Jims nephew kicked out of 2 different schools Ole Miss gave him another chance and before the season started he was on the chip strip and got into with the bouncers saying he was gonan light them up with an AK. THey stuck with him and he had a very good year and looks to be on the right path now... finally.

Made Dean’s Honor Roll for Spring 2015 ... Went on a spring break mission trip to Haiti with other members of the Ole Miss team in 2015 ... SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2015.

Something really clicked with him after his AK47 comments. He has done a lot of good, staying in school another year, being a leader for that team and having other kids come back with him, don't know what took so long for him to get his head out of his ass. He was trying to act like the original Jim.(Before he found God)

Hall - Eichel I think Hall is our plan B if we don't get Stamkos, Murray mentioned before that Eichels' winger is not on the team at the moment, I hope he does something big.
- Flynox

That makes sense, except if Hall is traded it will likely be at the draft
We might have an idea by then if we'll be in on Stamkos or not, but idk that we'll know for sure one way or the other

Tons of talent , full of himself ala John Foozeball

Keep in mind 90% of this area dont watch college football. There is nothing worse than WGR pretend to know a player like they've watched more than 5 mins of highlights on a guy. This is all minus Sal he knows his poop on CFB

What if Edmonton offered TM Hall for the '16 1st, Guhle, and Pysyk??
- Deuce81

That's not a bad trade as far as value goes, but it doesn't address what the Oilers need most

I'd be shocked if Hall is traded for anything less than a top pair defenseman

The hookers and blow-era Jim Kelly never won anything. I have just as much nostalgia for the 80s and 90s Bills as the next guy, but that bunch was a good team that couldn't get 're done.

I like the newer, humbler J K now, though. Hes been through some tough times.

Would u trade Kane for two 3rds?
Or even Ennis?

JVR would get at least a 2nd & good prospect
Someone like Bailey or Guhle
