People on here like to over value our assets, 7th Pick in this years draft won't help us next year, How long is Murray going to wait around for prospects to develop? He wants the team to be able to compete for a playoff spot next year with Eichel and Reinhart on their rookie deals, in that case he needs a Top 2 Defensemen or top 6 Winger to play with Eichel, and Bogo / Larsson will not get you Hall.

The hookers and blow-era Jim Kelly never won anything. I have just as much nostalgia for the 80s and 90s Bills as the next guy, but that bunch was a good team that couldn't get 're done.

I like the newer, humbler J K now, though. Hes been through some tough times.

Then it would have to be someone on the verge
One of the Ducks young guys, maybe Trouba...
Someone like that

StLouis might be a good trade partner for them

15-21-4 through the first 40, then this turnaround since early January. I always wanted/expected this season to be about growth and development of the young/new guys and figuring out linemates.

The young kids likely get better
Ennis is a legit 20 goal scorer we've been without all year
And I'd expect improvement from Girgensons & Kane
If Foligno & Larrson can be consistent over the whole year like they have these past 2 months, then that will give us a boost as well
Same with Bogosian
And if Lehner can stay healthy, he looks like a legit #1
Bailey &/or Fasching could get an opportunity to contribute next year as well

It just made sense that it would take a while for all the new young talent to come together
And for the team in general to learn Bylsma's system
It's said to be quite complicated,
Which I think hurt guys like Kane & Ennis
And is a big reason that Moulson & Girgensons have struggled all year
