Totally agree. He was a tad rusty, but he bounced back rather well last night. Kid has a monster shot, too. I think he scared Sam last night with one of his blasts that went wide.

In terms of natural shooting talent, Skjei and McIlrath have better shots than every one of our regulars. Klein is good but doesn't shoot regularly, Boyle has a good accurate wrist shot. Go figure, the qualities we need the most (good point shot, physical crease clearing play, good skating and good first pass) seem to healthy scratches all the time. Not sure why McIlrath hasn't gotten PP time with Yandle setting him up for that huge bomb.
