I thought it was only if both teams from the same division make it as the wild cards - PhillySportsGuy
No, I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. The team with the best record plays the wild card team with the worst record. It doesn't matter what the divisions the wild cards are in.
Last year Winnipeg moved because Anaheim had the higher ROW |

So if you had to choose between being eliminated by the Leafs or Wings, which would it be? - twiztedmike
I would prefer to eliminate on the leafs |

I think the Flyers are playing with house money just getting into the playoffs, so if they can make Washington sweat in the first round, I'm cool with that. The Flyers have played them pretty tough. I have no delusions that the Flyers can keep up with them in a 7 game series, but I think they will make Washington work for it. - johndewar
That's pretty much how I feel. I just don't want them to get trashed. There's nothing good in that. |

It would be a collapse given their play and record going back to the new year. - orangekrush2010
Or just an unbalanced year where they met and exceeded most expectations. It would be a bitter pill to swallow for sure, but if someone were to tell me that we would lose Del Zotto for half the season, Streit for a month+, Voracek for an extended period of time, both goalies would battle injuries and we would still be pushing hard for the playoffs not a single person would have believed me.
Welp, here we are. |

Yea forgot about that. Lost a bunch of important players at different parts of the year. Couple of key games without G too. |

This playoff run has been everything I asked for this season, if not more . It's been rough stretch for Philly sports and for the flyers to show they're relevant to the post season is a big win for me. |

Damn right.
Some meaningful hockey being played in April.
You even get the Phillies at 7pm as an appetizer.
Enjoy it. It's supposed to be fun. |

sorry but it's already been established that if they fail to make the playoffs it is a "collapse" by gutless players and inept management |

The orange is all wrong. Was that the 3-D logo with silver era?

It was the 3-D logo.
I was OK with the orange. I didn't care for how the sleeves were done.
I don't have a strong negative opinion of them, but I certainly didn't want to own one. I felt like they could have done better. |

It could be considered a collapse in relation to their recent play and being one of the better teams record wise since 2016 started and to not finish the job + make playoffs. But in terms of overall their organization and season as a whole, it's not a collapse. To be as middle as possible, we all have different interpretations of a collapse |

Two plays I remember clearly, Lindros' first game back to Philly, KJ coming in from the point and beat Richter glove side. And (maybe again against the Rangers) him going end to end and scoring another beauty. Shame concussions shorted his career. |
