Anyone ever tasted Sea Star, off Pender Island? I'm impressed. |

He doesnt need to do anything now. He was declared a success and a top 6 player. He doesnt even need to show up for camp. He's penciled in.

A 101 pt season last year was a good job. Too many ppl in the linch mob while this transition process continues. He has done fine with Bo & BHutt. Give him 25-30 games next year for a better assessment. |

lol…13 goals in 2 games by Miller and Marky. Demko just can't get here soon enough. We beat all the contending California teams in regulation and lose to EDM and CAL you can't even make this shat up
Good job Flames.

We probably finish 4th last, Columbus is pretty bad and I hope we end the season beating the coilers. Means were pretty likely to pick top 5!!

Somehow he got the team to overachieve last year, and definitely got schooled in the playoffs. I'd like to think that he as a rookie HC is learning and will get better. He'll be on a shorter leash next season I'd imagine.

WD had some vets & goals at his disposal last year.
As JB said today we sat in a PO spot til both Edler & Sutter were injured in the same game in Colorado. |

Last year the Canucks surprised us all.
The PO's showed our lack of toughness.
This year we came down to earth & injuries get us a top talent.
Idk what is so bad about all of that tbh.
Now lets see how lucky we r or we r not.
Still sticking to my guns....Laine👊 |

its funny how some people credit WD as the reason they got to playoffs last season yet deny its him when theres failure.
so if its success its the coach, but failure its the players? strange |

i think you should look at your own. Just last week when you made the same claim i showed how you were wrong and it was you that was selective. Perhaps youve forgotten that?!
And once again you post negatives about me and nothing with it at all to even come close to justify your comments. Its your signature crap move...
So how exactly do I have the shortest and selective memory? I ask before but you said nothing....cause there is nothing. So why dont you STFU with your negative and unwarranted comments....F*cking grow up |

Hey Tony G. what are you going to write about today, I know how about how well your stupid article where WD should have put Hansen with the twins is such a mis-justice to armchair coaches. Well you sure show them, can't believe how well that worked...phenomenal...you stupid ghost of an human - Makita
I can't ever let anybody forget that if running the team was up to Tony G he would have traded the Sedins for secondary scoring over a decade ago. |

I warned this group for years that Gillis was creating a serious generation gap and I was rewarded with a group of (frank) heads following me around yelling the sky is falling and debby downer.
This is what it looks like when you trade away your picks and fail in the 1st round of the draft for 7 seasons. - boonerbuck

All that happened was a 101 pt season & we made the PO's with a healthier roster & Vrbata showed up. This year too many injuries to key vets & Vrbata was awol & we slid backwards. A tale of 2 seasons with a review of the major differences. A coach & GM can share some credit for last year with the players doing the job. This year no coach with our injuries & lack of depth would make the playoffs. JB said it was on him that our depth was lacking. The players with too much youth did what they could & the results r what anyone would expect.
Q: eg other than the obvious lack of goaltending what is Calgary's excuse |

Cup runs do that & some fans have memory loss & think it happens overnight.

No question injuries hurt us, but I think last year was overachieving non-playoff team IMO. I expected a healthy canucks team to just miss the playoffs and then realize it was time to tear down (kinda similar to Boston)
I'm glad we bottomed out hard, I hope it means JB see's we need to rebuild |

nope...never been with a hooker ever. Not even interested in it at all.
Its too bad itd be immoral to post pics on internet of the shenanigans I get up to on my nights out. It'd be entertaining for many. My friends posted 1 pic once from my night out and it went viral....Im still hearing about it lol

ththats hard to say that no coach would. I honestly would disagree. There were too many games we SHOULD have won in spite of the injuries. Blown leads etc. Constantly losing games in the 3rd. Atrocious home record....thats a coaching problem right there.
regardless, we ALL agree that he's not that great....so why have him here then??
Hartley isnt that good of a season coach, hes a playoff guy. Certainly lower on the pole that majority of nhl coaches |

This year is write off & we get a top end talent pick.
Next year WD prolly sinks or swims.
All depends on JB & what roster he has for WD.
I'll wait for 25 games before WD stays or goes.
Our home record will be my 1st indicator & goals 2nd.
D is on JB & where we MUST upgrade is a given.
The PP is an area that has to be better.
Markstrom will be scrutinized for sure. |

Im sorry you dont see this correctly. we have a god awful D coach that is the worst Ive ever seen. Our D has been the worst in NHL since he's arrived. You cant put D failure on JB unless its not firing that clown earlier.
Our home record has suffered all season, what more do you need to see in that? WHy wait and prolong our agony? Just get better people here now. |
