For me Demko and Stecher are only "ifs" for leaving college, I can see both joining Vancouver once they decide to go pro. Cagguila is the one where I am not convinced he comes

Stecher has wanted to be a Canuck his whole life, if JB makes him an offer he will sign it as fast as possible.

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing hopefully either L.A.or the Caps win the cup...not really interested in seeing anyone else except maybe Anaheim hoist it this season.

Demko told Benning he needs "few weeks" to talk to Family and friends regarding turning Pro or going back to Boston College for final year. The fact that he is contemplating makes me think he will go back for his final year.

last 10 yrs + every cup winner has had a coach that tweaks the game shift to shift period to period game to game. Bodreau is NOT that type. Which is why he tends not to win in the playoffs even with great washington teams. The team had good momentum the year they went to conf finals but got bounced by the cup winner which had a multiple cup winning tweaking coach. Thats why bodreau will never win it. Good coaches will be there in the end to send him packing.

Meanwhile the ducks won it in their 2nd season with carlyle. That guy knows his stuff. One of the most knowledgable coaches in the nhl. in his 1st season with the ducks he had his players playing multiple systems and smoothly moving from one to the other. Amazing. Never seen it before wow

I think he will have more opportunities to explore. Vancouver needs skilled forwards, but the LW is Daniel, Sven, Etem, Higgins and maybe Gaunce. Its not the best group of LWers but for a guy coming out of college and needing top 9, I think he at least looks around. I still have a good feeling about him and Van, but I wouldnt count on it. Nor would I count out Chicago, or a team in the east like NJ
