Honestly, Flyers and Wings making it into the playoffs is the best case scenario for the Pens. It puts Rask on the outside. Only concern here is the Murray injury.

Yeah in some ways it was pretty positive. Zatkoff came in after a long layoff and didn't blow up. The AHL level lineup held their own with a pretty healthy philly team in philly no less that had their season pretty much on the line. I'm fine with it.

There is still belief out there that the pens overachieved this season. Perhaps there is some validity to that, but eventually you have to consider that the way they've played since January, that that belief is reaching.
