Getting another scoring winger and top 4 dman are important, but I think addressing the bottom six is just as important.

my take on the last few weeks

1. Moulson is not as bad as we make him out to be. He played less then 12 minutes per game, put up 21 points and had a respectable -5 for the year. If you commit to giving him 15 minutes per game (second team pp), he will be just fine.

2. The shinny new toy only scored 1 more goal than the dusty skunk under the bed.

3. Gionta is everything this team needs on a 3rd line role for next yea, no reason to move him or hope he retires.

4. Mccabe and Johnson were the best surprises of the year

5. Franson and Girgensons was the biggest flops

I like these points. Gionta, I thought was brutal early in the year, but his play kept getting better all the way through the end of the season. Samson shared that trajectory as well. I know Sam vs Sam debates will probably continue, but I'm very happy with who we got.

im pretty sure he is a ufa. I think that was why they were trying to move him at the deadline. Not as flashy of a signing but I wouldnt be upset with it

I wouldnt hate resigning him, but hes not high on the want list. Resigning Matthias is more important than Boedker. Plus I think Avs are going to give Radulov some cash.
