Boedker reasoning/justification:

1) He's a UFA...freeeeeeee! I like free, do you like free?
2) He's fast. Probably fastest winger in free agency.
3) He didn't score 20 goals...I don't think he will command the 6+M that 89 speaks of. If he had went to the Avs and jumped up 10 more goals and 20 pts by now...then maybe.
4) Hall will cost A BOATLOAD!
5) Boedker>D-Lo

Getting yandle would help us a ton. He's 29 so term would become an issue when Eichel, etc will need to be resigned

And count me for, hoping the Florida Panthers do well in the playoffs. Reaffirming (as if it actually needs it) the rebuild model. They're a couple years ahead of the Sabres and it'd be nice to see some of the perennial Eastern Conference stalwarts fall to a nice, young exciting team.

thats the one thing the Hero chart doesnt really show, him on another team.
He has terrible 5v5 p60 on that chart..however with the Avs he put up 11 even strength points in 18 games. (which would be almost identical to Kane and ROR 5v5 p60)

The biggest knock on him was that he was a PP specialist, but he really showed he can produce 5v5 with better line mates.

what I didn't like about him is how soft he was on the puck, and wouldnt be considered a possession driving forward. Very offensively minded so he lack of defensive ability is madness

Pretty sure Hanzal got domi and duclair. Boedker has been playing with an assortment of Ribero, Doan, Vermette, and whoever else that I can't even name off hand over the past 3 years

Murray has interest in Hall but a deal like......... our 1st this year, Girgensons, Psysk and Bailey won't get it done.

this team is not moving forward in a position of weakness, that is way too much to give up for one player, especially when you aren't sure yet if that same type player is already in the organization.
It baffles me the amount of people who keep trying to trade Pysyk and Girgensons, The object should be to keep young players who can play the game the right way, not finding reasons to dump them.

Why would you consider it a dump when you are getting a player like Hall? TO get hall you need to give up players of value. You can find replacements for those 2 rather easily

Psysk and Girgensons are nothing players, Girgensons has been missing most of the year and if you have a chance to get Hall you 100% give up to get him.
