I have ZERO issue with Brock going back for one more year and developing in a winning environment at UND. - Codes1087
Plus he'll get to play with this year's 1st rounder Tyson Jost as his lime-mate next year.

Agreed, 1-2 years in college is usually a good idea (example: Kyle Turris - should've returned for one more year). If he goes for year 3 that's where you can start to have issues |

I cut them some slack now that they moved out the old regime and brought in McLellan and Chiarelli. He has had a season to make a few moves and see what he has in his prospects. They upgraded in net, have more depth up front, and Nurse is an NHLer, so thats some progress. Being desperate or panicking now isnt the best idea, but PC knows he will need to make some stronger moves now I am sure - WhiteLie
They didn't though. Mact is still there so is Lowe just in different roles the whole boys club is still there and Chirellli hasn't done a f@cking thing other that hire McLennan. |

Replaces Cagguila on the Boeser/Schmaltz 1st line. Going to be exciting. |

How much more can he develop there? I'm happy ND has great facilities and that he will be in winning environment, but there's not much room for him to grow there IMO. He already does Pk,PP, plays big minutes and dominates the competition. That where Detroit brought Larkin in from, similar level of dominance. I don't care as long as he puts on the Canucks sweater eventually I guess. |

I am 1/1. Lets see if Demko goes back and I will be 2/2 - Codes1087
makes me think the Nux aren't going to get either of these players and they'll go UFA where some team will sign these guys to some sweet deal. No ELC for these guys...
Or
Demko and Boeser are going to destroy the NCAA next season and then Demko tells the Nux he is going UFA.
Nux will then trade his rights for some middling draft picks and conditional 1st if he ends up signing.
if he doesn't sign then the Nux can go after him and overpay just to bring him on board...
repeat for Boeser when he's in his last year college... |

He's already on that line, that's why it's called the CBS line and he's the player with the most points on it.
edit: I misread your post, oops! |

Boeser can't.
Plus I highly doubt he is going to wait another 2 years after that to get a $500k signing bonus.

He cleared out Ference, Shultz and some other pieces over the year (adding a few picks at the TDL), brought in Kassian and Maroon to add forward depth with size and toughness, and most importantly he got Talbot who is still young and developing but an upgrade over the shuffle before. It takes time, and they seem more willing now to move a big piece for defense, I just dont see them going absurd and moving someone like LD in a package of other assets just to acquire 1 defenseman |

Boeser goes back for a year.
Demko would not throw on a Canucks jersey unless Marky or Miller get injured anyway. I expect Demko to spend a full year in Utica MINIMUM before he gets a backup role with the Canucks.

Wow you're cheery today. Happy Monday.
If they know they are wanted they will sign.
Everyone is to worried over this because of Vesey. Mark my words if Vesey signs anywhere other than Nashville there will be tampering lawsuits laid down the instant he signs elsewhere. Bowser and Demko will be Canucks. |

Funny, if we get anything less than 3rd pick I'll be pissed.
And if it does happen... I'll blame Benning. |

lawsuits won't matter. can't make it stick without a smoking gun, and what are the chances of that happening... |

CHL players can do the exact same thing and in 2 years.
They will just re-enter the draft

Why not? It gives the skilled players coming out of college incredible leverage. |
