Well with this i say
8th pick to Anaheim for one of the D-men and their first
Trade Anaheims first+ Girgensons to Montreal for Pacioretty
Trade Foligno and two 3rds to EDM for YAK
Trade Ennis for a 2016 or 2017 first
Trade Franson (Hold 750K) for a 3/4
Sign Erikkson to a 5 year 28MM deal
Kane - ROR - Eriksson
Reinhart- Eichel - Pacioretty
YAK - Larsson - Gionta
Deslauries - COR - ???
Risto - Anaheim trade
McCabe - Bogosian
Pysyk - Nelson
Gorges? - ImThatGuy
Yeah, if you want their 4th best defenseman. Top 2 defensemen don't get shipped for anything less than an over-payment. It's like when we sat here and said "If you want Myers you can have him but you're going to have to pay more than he's worth".
Same with the MTL trade. You're trading probably a 24-30 overall pick and a guy who has regressed to the point that we don't want him for a guy with 4 30 goal seasons in the last 5 years (with the other being a lockout year at 15 goals). No way he gets traded for anything we would want to give up. |

I don't know how to grade Pacioretty. Habs fans hate the guy. |

I think your first two trades a little bit aggressive, to the point of unrealistic. Everything else is feasible - DDM-Coga
Cam Fowler would be the target there. You may have to add a bit, I don't think much.
With the Pach trade. I have no idea how to grade him. like I said above, Habs fans cant stand the guy. |

There is zero chance that Fowler or any other dman gets traded out of Anaheim for a 20 spot ungrade in the first round. Even if you were just sending the 8th (probably worse if you don't win the lottery) that would not likely be enough to get Fowler.
Anaheim is dealing from a position of strength, but it isn't like they 'need' to get rid of a young defender.
I think a Hampus Lindholm (Lumpy) dealers the Oilers (Hall?) is much more likely. |

Arizona is reportedly about to fire their management. Not sure how I feel about that.
Max Domi: 18-34-52
Anthony Duclair: 20-24-44
OEL: 21-34-55
Dylan Strome (CHL): 37-74-111
I get that they didn't make the playoffs again but were they really expected to? They finished 29th I believe last year. This year they finished 24th. As a comparison we finished 30th last year and now finished 23rd.
I feel like they're doing the wrong thing but maybe we're wrong for thinking this is okay? |

This team really only needs to add a top 6 winger or Stamkos if we are really lucky and a top 4 dman. I guess a couple depth guys too but that's it really.
We got Hudson, Rodrigues, and Bailey who will all be trying to make the jump. I think 2 of them stick but for sure one of them will. We also got Guhle who could be ready to make the jump "was extremely impressive last year". We also have Ennis coming back which is like signing a really good free agent in July.
Only players I see gone for sure next year are Cal and Legwand. I hope Moulson is too but that's wishful thinking. |

Last I looked we have something like a 36% chance of staying at 8th and a 20% chance at moving up? Is that right? Saw it on twitter this weekend and can't remember where. Someone who is good at stats, can you confirm? |

If we played the way we did the past couple months at the beginning of the season, We would have thought the same thing regarding the Sabres. Role reversal I guess. |

They were overachieving the entire time they were up there. I remember people saying how they did it right and the Sabres didn't yadda yadda yadda. They got hot and it was unsustainable. They rode a goalie's hot streak.
If ownership was smart they wouldn't have seen that as the expected but I guess that statement explains why they're doing this. |

Still a constant 30 goal scorer the past 3 seasons. That would be one massive trade package to get that sort of production on a really good cap hit long term contract
would have to giving up more than what you did in the ROR trade |

What is up with all these players talking to media about ice time and not liking contracts? If I told my boss that I hated my job/demanded more pay/said I couldn't wait to find a new job...I would be kindly asked to leave. I know that things are said behind closed doors and to coaches and GMS, but to a reporter? If the anyone had any balls they would have sat him for the rest of the year and then congratulated him on his new found freedom on clean out day. The younger generation do not earn things...they feel entitled to everything. - RhinoFan
Funny how Eichel, Reinhart, etc. have been praised for being class acts since they were drafted, yet one guy who's voiced his displeasure over the past year means an entire generation feels entitled.

10=35%
Somthing along those lines |

Ownership probably wanted the best chance at Matthews and the early success killed that. Maybe that's why lol |

Red the blog. Makarov I'm guessing. Oh well. I wrote him off last year, honestly didn't even remember we really had him until Ullmark got called up and I saw he started for Roch. |

I don't like the idea of trading for Yakupov. If here were a bonafide top 6 forward, sure, of course. But I think Foligno would be an exceptional 4th line winger and has everything that TM wants (size and speed). |

You have previously mentioned bobby ryan, was that a serious possibility or just for laughs.
IMO could be a nice add..maybe like even more than nash at this point - yen6d1
Only if the Sens see him as a bust, don't know if they are at that point yet. Murray knows the new GM in Ottawa so all is not lost. |
