and JV had the best! Looks good on him. What a shot he has too - SMBDragon
Ya, I noticed that and over a good sized sample too. I think he stay's with the big club next year as he can hold his own on that end of things. |

Personally, i would move any of our D for a young D blue chipper:
except Tryamkin...he is on my untouchable list right now to see how he develops.
Trouba, Dumba, etc. - dbot
yes he is the real deal, its apparent...and he'll only get better.
He may be a good partner for Edler and make space for edler to play his game. |

Just trying to help a guy out. It's either regardless or irrespective.......the other is a double negative. - golfingsince
I get it.
All good.
My wife corrects me on that one all the time, and i use it just to piss her off, which i suspect was hillbilly's intent as well. |

I wonder if as we get closer to the draft, the Mathews and Laine race will tighten up a bit. Could make the consolation prize of 2nd or 3rd pick purdy sweeeet. |

I looked it up before posting, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irregardless , it has been around for quite some time (1795 South Carolina)
Most dictionaries list it as nonstandard or incorrect usage, and recommend that "regardless" should be used instead |

like Ive said, to make laine is the best player. When I compare play on video I see Laine as better and more rounded than Mathews. Mathews Ive noticed needs a playmaker for him to score. I didnt see that with Laine, he's just unbelievable. |

You see it when he's out there too, he's got a good stick and is not easy to pass around, wait too long and he's going to ding ya on top of it. Loved the progression,WJC was the turning point not in the way any of us expected I don't think though. |

When it comes to finally reaching the end of some of those Gillis contracts has taken an eternity, and now that we are finally there, we have had some similar (but far less harsh) term signings by Benning in the Dorsett/Sbisa deals. They money (to me) was never an issue as I knew this team was not going to be fighting for a stanley cup the year after her took over. My point being, is that now that finally some of those contracts expiring, it would have been nice to see Dorsett and Sbisa have their contracts expire relatively close to the same time as the other aging players. - Codes1087

I agree with everything you have said. Sbisa was a wreck in his first season but has made great strides in his injury ridden season.
I will say this though. Even with Hutton's Corsi % this year. The fact that he was not on anyone's radar as a player who would make the Canucks opening night roster, and now he is throwing on a Team Canada jersey as a rookie. I am super super super happy with that. Some will argue it is too much too soon, but I can't see how this hurts his confidence playing with such great players. Great for the 22 year old. - Codes1087
Weber had one of the highest Corsi % on the team. I wouldnt worry about Huttons Corsi. He took on a huge role while Hammer and Edler missed half a season each.

That's definitely not the scouting report on him. |
