I was reading where it said if the ALIEN from the Wings goes back to Russia, they will go after Stamkos. Why would he sign there with aging players and a less chance for a cup. Not the same place it was years ago, Sabres still have more to offer.

Agreed, Vanek being out means nothing. He was on the bench as a healthy scratch for the last few weeks, in and out. Him not playing is why they made the playoffs

Agreed. I have a soft spot for Pommer. One of the more under rated players in the league for a few years IMO. The fact that Dustin Brown and Callahan made the Olympics over him was a joke
