If McDavid wasn't in the draft this past year, Eichel would have gone first. But when talking about Rookie of the year, he's not even mentioned by some and it makes me laugh when they say Larkin has a better chance why because he plays on the Red Wings.

This is my point. I don't think Eichel wins. I don't think he should. He did great, but others did better. But Larkin didn't. Larkin did great, but Eichel out-scored him playing with lesser talent and having to play a more prominent role.
