How the hell is that worth a ban?

You tell em Homie!! We by far have the most strict board on the entire site. I had a post deleted today for no reason and will probably get a ban for mentioning it. But in the Toronto thread the call other teams fags and queers and all sorts of names and talk poop about bloggers and nothing happens, the minute you stick up for yourself you are banned. Its disgusting. But it will never change, then we get banned in our own thread, for saying one tiny thing but other fans come in and bash us and nothing is said. It is crazy!.... see you guys in a week!

So, FWIW, http://www.mynhldraft.com/NHL-Mock-Draft/ has us taking Sergachyov with the 9th pick. NHL CSB has him at 8th overall in North America and 4th in D behind Chychrun, Juolevi, and McAvoy (all per Bob McKenzie). That same list has Du Bois over Thachuk.

So say we pick 8th or 9th, do we take a defenseman, winger, or just go BPA? Either way we're going to likely have to wait for him to develop for a few years so I think I'd be more inclined to get a defenseman. As has been pointed out, Risto was an 8th pick. A guy like Juolevi might work well with Risto down the line. None of them are physical standouts, but a few years to develop and grow into their bodies would help.

Of course, we could always trade the pick, too.

Btw, our old friend Halak will not play in the first round of the playoffs.
