Kind of makes sense if BUF loves Goff, as Wentz looks to be going #1 to LA now. 2 concerns: Would Goff be ready day 1 and trading our 1st and 2nds this year really hurts our D - we have serious holes to fill. - turbo044
Goff would be ready Day 1, I dont see Wentz being ready right away. I thought Wentz would be a good fit for Cle as he could play behind RG3 for a year or 2.

I'll believe the trade when I see it. We have TT under a nice contract this year, we'll sign him in the season for the future, and can use that savings on the defense which needs talent. We'll go defense heavy in the draft and go from there. It's all just talk. - Zschalberg
Im 99% sure we are going DE or LB with the 1st pick. Also doubt any of the top 3 Qb's would be there anyways
Sign Drake Caggiula
Sign Vesey to play with Eichel and Reinhart
Sign Soupy to a 2 year $11m deal to play with Risto
Re-sign Johnson at 2/$4m
Draft Olli Juolevi at #9 (guessing we won't win the lottery and will be knocked back a spot). he'll be ready to go when Soupy's contract expires
Stamkos is great but the $$ and the logjam at C concerns me so pass on him and continue the youth movement (not counting Soupy)
Lines:
Reinhart-Eichel-Vesey
Kane-O'reilly-Ennis
Gionta-Larsson_Foligno
Bailey-Girgenson-Moulsen-D-Lo-etc (let them fight it out)
Risto-Soupy
McCabe-Bogo
Gorges-Pysyk-Franson-Nelson (let them fight it out)

Is the article's source reliable? I don't recognize it

I would rather take Lynch, and the TT trade is fake as fake can be. Its a fake site that posted it.

bad trade
no clue what rams are thinking - homiedclown
I agree, they have a lot more holes then just QB, all those picks and you figure atleast 2 become starters. Goff is very very good but I wouldnt put him in the cant miss category. I wonder how much of this was put on by the owner moving to LA and all that reminds of me DraftDay where you are forced to make a big splash.

Tenn will make out a lot more imo - hubie
worst part is there is no clear cut sure fire pick in this draft
it's not like they made the trade to draft a luck, manning, newton, elway type guy
If Wentz is a franchise QB its a good trade for both teams, Titans can load up this year and will end up with probably 4 starters in the draft this year. Plus if wentz works out, top WRs, and other players will want to go to LA. Now if he is average, this is a horrible deal. But at least they went for it!
Page 1. The original post was taken down, God knows why, but thank baby Jesus it was responded to, with, btw, the most unassuming random way ever. - TheSabresTaco
Pretty sure kept just wrote that himself and put it in quotes as RicoMartin's

if it is wentz, and I think it's going to be goff, this trade is even more crazy
if your giving up 6 picks to draft a qb from north dakota state, your putting all your eggs in the basket of a kid that has yet to play against average dbs, and average pass rush
The monumental trade could mean North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz will be the No. 1 overall pick. The Rams’ No. 1 draft need is quarterback, according to NFL.com, and Sam Farmer of the L.A. Times is already reporting that Wentz is the “presumed target.”
Rams have traded with Tennessee for the top pick in the draft — Carson Wentz is the presumed target.

A few weeks ago, the #Rams worked out #NDSU QB Carson Wentz, source said. LA doing research on the top QBs, as well.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 14, 2016
Three months ago Wentz won his fifth straight national championship at NDSU (second title as the starting quarterback), and within two weeks he could be living in Hollywood.
The reaction about Wentz has been mixed considering the Rams gave up so much to get the top pick.
Carson Wentz better be Kurt Warner reincarnated to justify a deal like that
— Eddie Nero (@eddiegovang) April 14, 2016
If Carson Wentz is a star, this is worth it. If he's an average NFL starter, it's not. At least the Rams are going for it.

I like Carson Wentz, but he isn't THAT good. My God.
— Jimmy Kempski (@JimmyKempski) April 14, 2016
Jeff Fisher trading the farm for Carson Wentz would be such a fitting move. Especially with two better QB prospects available.
— Ian Wharton (@NFLFilmStudy) April 14, 2016
#Rams are said to love Carson Wentz. I'd expect he's the pick for LA

exactly, what I dont get is you dont need to trade to one to get them, you could get to say 2 or 3 and land one. I think Goff is the choice and they felt they had to go to 1 to get him

Pretty much every single football source is locked that it is Wentz

it has to be goff
pretty sure they figured the cowboys would have taken him or moved the pick
my guess is the asking price for the known, first overall was not much different then the asking price for picks 2-4
