Girardi absence at practice believed injury related. Staal with Klein, Yandle with McIlrath, Skjei with Boyle |

Yeah, thats basically what it boils down to. Have a feeling any deal for Nash, Rangers are retaining partial salary for 2 years. - mdw7413
That's fine, just get he and Girardi off the team next season. |

Talk to St. Louis about a deal involving Shatty, buy out or wait for Girardi's limited NTC to kick in and trade him, but out Staal, resign Yandle
Mcdonagh-Shatty
Yandle-Klein
Skjei-McIlrath
There's a lot of Murica on that blue line - KreiderBomb
That's also a dream lineup. AV like em old and immobile. |

Staal is going nowhere. I can see either Yandle or Shattenkirk here next season but not both. |

You'd do that if they traded Nash. |

Just teasing bud.
I do see Nash gone barring a record breaking postseason goal output this spring. |

yeah, I think so, probably not the best trade and they may need to keep some bucks like Toronto kept some of Kessel's money |

Yeah. Rangers played pretty well with him out of the lineup. Think it's gotta happen. Maybe get a 2nd rounder or at least a 3rd liner and prospect; especially if Rangers are eating half his salary for next season. |

Love Love Love McIlrath.. but he must stay out of the box....
Also forgot the part where Lundqvist is in net practicing |

Rangers can get more than that for him. He is not completely washed up but he just is too inconsistent for his price tag. He's on schedule to have a strong season next year; but this yo-yo production is too tiresome for me to tolerate any further. |

I can see them getting a good prospect and a first round pick while retaining two million, or more, of his salary. |

Not directed at you, brother, but there is still a story to be written for the remainder of the season, which may change perception on these things. If the story is a first round flame out, then the current view will likely hold, but again, we are one game in here. Never know how these things play out.

I believ I'm in the right mesaage thread. I guess I should have be clearer.
I have the exact same selections by team as John. Right thru the playoffs. I find that odd. |

Not sure why STL would want Nash, as he is a great all around player but the tagline is he doesn't produce in the playoffs. Maybe thats why theyd want him...
Think big changes are coming if a first round exit is indeed what happens( im still not sold on pitt beating them). Really think itll depend on who leaves a lasting image in these final games. Think Nash would have value, but no way a deal is done unless rangers take back or hold on to significant salary. Teams are so weary of the cap recently. |

Postseason has only begun and I am hoping, despite his playoff history, that Nash attempts to write a new story. He just has too much ability to be this insignificant during these crucial games. |

I can see a team like Toronto or the Blues taking Nash on for sure. It's not like he is washed up completely and I am sure the Rangers understand retaining a good chunk of his salary, regardless where he could be shipped to, is a given. |
