being paid 9 million dollars this season he should be asked to do alot - penguininnevada
We'll worry about ours. You worry about your 9.5 million dollar ogre that has already started costing your team now that he's playing. What a surprise |

No. They actually played really well tonight though. Their throwing the kitchen sink at them. Just isn't going to be enough |

I have to step back. For my own sanity. They made the dance and that was their championship so to speak.
At some point effort and hard work take you so far. The caps are better, and that is okay. Flyers are trying and there is no disputing that. I don't like not being willing to engage or initiate in the "dirty game" but so be it.
Lappy needs to go after this year. The passive PK has been there all year long. |

I'm there with that. The flyers played a good game but aren't good enough to beat the caps. No shame. It's not like one of the Ottawa disaster series. |

Definitely looking like a presidents trophy winner vs an 8 seed. Especially in the special teams. |

It must not be fun living such a miserable life and all so have some perspective. What did you really expect with this roster? The young guys are getting some playoff experience. Realistically I never expected them to win this series. |

Millbury and JR ragging on Mase is not that surprising. It's like they've been bidding their time until they could crawl out of whatever hole they stay in and today with that goal was the perfect opportunity i wonder where they were when he basically took the Flyers to the playoffs late in the season? |

I had the Canadian telecast on my link and they mentioned some crazy stat to the effect that the Caps had lost 4 out of the last 6 playoffs series they had gone up 2-0 in.
So you're saying there's a chance? *prays* |

I'd like to see the band-aid ripped off this offseason. Get who's not in it for the long haul out, get the prospects up and fully build next year for the future.
FFS, what is so hard about moving Streit for a 2nd and 3rd and then giving those picks to a team to get AMac off our hands? Hell, eat a million of AMac if need be. The net gain of Streit and AMac's contracts being off the books is still astronomical in comparison. |

I'd like to see Morin at some point, with Konecny and Provorov as starting night locks.
Would like to see Read replaced with a guy who has some size. |

Although better pp would help the situation, you can't advance in playoffs without scoring 5 on 5. They created good chances on pp and did a good job changing pp set up from left side presence to down low net drive. Holtby rose to the challenge. |
