Nice to regain home ice and put that emotional roller coaster of a game behind them. They earned it today. Three penalties in a row in the first. Down twice in the game, and they fought back.

Hats off to the Blues for putting Friday night behind them and grabbing a road win. Very impressive.

Just got done watching.

I thought this was going to be a blowout after the first half of the first with all those pks.

Very impressed with their play, especially in the third with the comeback victory.

What a big boy game and humongous win!

Now you move on to an even bigger challenge.

Beating Chicago in games 4-7

They get better and the blues must get better

The next gear needs to be for be found

Only gets tougher from here

Game 3 is out of mind now on to game 4

Right now, somewhere a voice mail from the NHL is being listened to: "Dammit Tim! the one time we WANT you to screw the Blues and suck as an official you call a game even & let them win?? WTF are you thinking?"

Fleischman helped.

Parayko is the youngest Blue to score in a playoff game since Pronger did in 1997.

That's defenceman right? Loved the stat "First rookie Blues defenceman to score in the playoffs since Bryce Salvadore"

Neal takes dirty to a new level. Just another example

Anyone else really hoping for a Perry/Neal fight where they beat the tar out of each other?

There have been all kinds of messing with the goalies in this game. In the third, the Ducks took out Rinne 2 or 3 tines in the first 5 minutes of the 3rd.

I wonder what they talked about during the intermission.........

Word. The Blues are taking the lead on special teams despite having four fewer PPO's. The Hawks PK seems to have continued it's poor play from the regular season. If they call the games at least somewhat evenly, the Blues should be able to close out the series.

So I don't want to rehash Friday night but can someone explain how the puck has to be all the way passed the blue line to be in the zone for a player to be on side but the puck has to be completely across the blue line towards center ice for it to be out of the zone?

How can that be? Two different rules for the same line?

Either its in the zone once it hits the blue line or its not.

The player being in the air should have no bearing on offside as long as a part of his body is behind the line.

I hope one of you smart guys can enlighten me

The blue line is party of the zone the puck is in.

While carrying the puck in the neutral zone, the blue line is part of the neutral zone and the puck needs to completely cross before you have entered the zone.

Once the offensive zone is established, the line is now part of the offensive zone and the puck needs to completely clear the blue to be cleared of the zone.

I guess that makes sense

oh well glad the boys sacked up on Sunday

Now the true test begins will the blues get better in Games 4-7 or will the hawks ramp it up like they always do with no answer

Going to be fun and very very stressful

I did not take the sequence on Friday night very well and my wife was not talking to me Saturday Whoops

As gerk predicted and I agreed, ott looks to be in today.

Yeah have to play Ott when you don't have last change. Thought he played well. Give Q something to think about sending Toews out there w Ott. Instigator wise hes doing what he should, starting stuff and mixing it up with their best players.

Would like to see steen and Schwartz flipped even for just a bit to see if it can get steen going.

So should we expect all the Blues games to start no earlier than 8:30? Seems pretty ridiculous just to get viewers switching over from the early games.

I hate the Blues with passion. But have to give them props.they are playing the Blackhawks as well as anyone has in the past 7 years. But you still need to win 4 games before anyone goes golfing
