I love the rebuild that the Leafs are executing. This is what Burke and company needed to do years ago. He totally misevaluated the roster at the time..Jason Blake, Toskala, ponikarovsky, antropov..and he trades 2 firsts that would have been top 2 picks plus a second for Phil Kessel at the time. This new regime is definitely doing it right and I'm so excited for the future. Cultivating young players and drafting effectively is the right process and there is finally optimism for the future. Leiweke seemed to be pretentious but the best move he made was hiring Shanahan.
