a small but important step - Symba007
a lot of teams have developed a strategy of having a small forward fall behind the opponent's net as a distraction |

i haven't watched a second of playoff action but i bet that SJ-LA series is pretty awesome. - DoubleDown
They've been really fun to watch. Both teams are big, fast and play a well balanced off/def game. The hitting and then chippy play flares up easily between the two teams and with no vested interest it makes for fun hockey to watch.
When the LA lines are rolling out and the play-by-play guy is going it's unreal to realize how much talent is on the ice for them at all times offensively. Hell, LA's 3rd line is better than the Habs first line most days with Brown-Lacav-Versteeg.
Pavelski is amazing to watch. Hertyl seems to be in the right place at the right time almost every offensive possession. Thornton is playing regular season hockey in the playoffs so far and thats a big step for him. Makes SJ dangerous when those factors are going on. |

yep, fun series to watch,
LAK maybe a bit too slow to win it, unless Quick wakes up and steals a few games

So to recap, because they're too slow, they need Quick? |

in NFLD till the trade deadline,
then he'll be called back to replace DD on the 3rd, after DD has been traded
and why would Weise play on the 2nd?!? he played on the 3rd all season long! - fidopro
He played on the first line. Not sure you've kept watching. |

Quick looks good most of the time but he has MAF moments. Last game after SJ first goal, maybe a minute later, the puck came off the boards behind him and he tried to stop it and missed. Then he dove to try and get it and missed. Luckily LA D got to it before SJ. Could have been 2 goals in the first 2 min of the game otherwise. Not exactly Mason-esque, but could have been embarrassing. |

Gallagher plays on the first. Semin and then Andrigetto played on the 2nd.
Did Weise play a few games on the top 6 because of injuries? Sure. But he mostly played on the 3rd first with DD and Fleischman, and then with Eller.

I like Chicago, but I guess they will be out soon. I don't really have a team outside Montreal. Just watch a few games here and there. |

Gallagher missed a lot of games this year. Weise started on the third for a few games but then moved up in the line-up with all the injuries. |

That's not true. He just likes to Hasek it out there. Which leads to some embarrassing moments. |

I'd like to see SJ go far only because I know a few die-hard fans. Personally, as much as people hate on him, I'd like to see Ovi get a cup. |

They are rock solid (Caps) at every position and Holtby is a gamer. I like their chances this year. |

Both good picks. It would be nice to see SJS shed that playoff bust label.
WSH is scary good this year. Although I think I picked Dallas - NYI for a SCF |

Yeah I like Chicago too because of guys like Keith, Seabrook, Toews! Crawford is a little douchey though |
