regardless of how you may or may not feel about the wristband throwing, the "now you've done it" is beyond rich.
- stayinthefnnet

Stupid thing to say.

If anything, an announcement should have been made that fans who threw the wristbands will be identified through videotape, and they'll permanently lose their seats and be heavily fined.

Typical flyer fans and the reason so many other team fans just don't like them. Embarrassing.

For someone who watches all the Flyers games, that was tough to watch! They're just up against a really really deep good hockey team.

They Flyers best players can't get any traction, two goals in three games isn't gonna get it done. Their four best forwards are Giroux, Schenn, Simmonds & Voracek, collectively they have two points.

Hextall has some cleanup work to do to get those four guys some help.

Tampa got swept by Montreal two years ago. The lightning were the eastern conference Champs one year ago. The lightning look very good this year as well. Not saying the flyers will be the eastern conf Champs next year, but the future is bright. Hextall is doing a great job. Tonight was really rough, but it's not the end of the flyers franchise.

I really thought the Flyers would show some guts & take this game, or at least make it a game, they showed far better in the 2 games in Washington, compete wise. Not gonna say more, easy to kick you when your down, hate it when trolls of yours like Orangecrush do it to the Rangers like he did throwing bombs after we lost just 1 game. That idiot I'm sure is banned or typically disappears when the chips are down.

right?

i'm not gonna completely defend it, because its definitely dumb and unnecessary. but come on.

people are probably drunk, extremely upset at the way the game and series has gone. and you're gonna say that? you're borderline inviting the response of (frank) yeah now we definitely HAVE done it.

Ugly night. Hopefully Game four, or whenever it ends isn't as deplorable as this one.

The Flyers failed to execute, yet again, in pretty much every facet of the game. The PP generated shots but not many chances. The PK was way too passive most of the night. Nobody played well, outside of maybe the 4th line, Nick Schultz and Brayden Schenn.

Whether it's fatigue, injury or simple lack of talent-or most likely all three-this season's end shouldn't tarnish the success that it brought. The Flyers should not have been a playoff team. They gritted their teeth and clawed their way into the playoffs and the toll that took is evident. It was evident before the season ended and they were dropping games to Detroit and Toronto.

This isn't the 2011 team, that meekly fell to Boston after being taken to 7 games by the Sabres. It's a team in the middle of a retool. In a few years, the only defenseman on the roster tonight that will likely still be here is Gostisbehere. This can and needs to be a learning experience.

There's plenty of blame here, enough for everyone. It's a shame some will get a bigger cut of that pie than they deserve.

yeah i really thought the flyers would push it to 6. its more about what washington is doing than what the flyers arent doing. i didnt think the capitals defense was going to be able to choke off all time and space like this. and holtby has been pretty silly.

i didnt hear it while watching the game, but in bills blog he said that the stadium announcer basically admonished the fans who were throwing the bands with a "now you've done it" after the penalty was called.

again, not really standing up for the idiots chucking poop, but come on.

I'm going to go to the next caps game and throw poop in the ice nonstop. Flyers will get 60 mins of 5 on 3 hockey. We we lose 2 to 1 but at least it will be exciting.

That's where I am

They showed a lot of heart by getting in. Washington is doing what you should do when you are the top seed playing a weaker opponent: Keep applying pressure until something or someone snaps

This is nowhere near as bad as 2001 or 2006, when they expected to romp & got destroyed by Buffalo. They were playing with house money. Going home even isn't the worst thing to happen

Flyer fan rooting for the Pens? You hate the Rangers that much? Hmmm, I'm honored.
