In most instances, adding "re" to a word means to do it again (i.e. "rerun", "retool", "rework"). However, the word "liable" describes something that is a hinderance or detriment, and the word "reliable" describes something that you can count on in a time of need. Shouldn't one of them be "unliable" instead?

Sens chose Redden over Chara. Not writing Morin will evolve into Chara, but I'm sure Hexy is going to give a pretty long learning curve until he pulls the plug. The physical attributes alone make it worth the wait to find out. - ravishingone
absolutely.
and he doesn't need to be chara if one of provorov/sanheim become who everyone thinks they could be.

I think he falls somewhere between Andy Sutton and Zdeno Chara. Maybe a Kevin or Derian Hatcher. |

It would be nice to have a Dman who can out muscle a power forward in the corner and clear the porch. I love the potential of Provy and Sanheim and Ghost is an amazing talent, but any good D needs a guy like Morin too - BiggE
I would be interested to see a top 4 with Morin and Gudas in it. there would be nasty/punishment out there all the time.
And yes, Gudas needs to make sure he stays on the good duy side of the line, but only by a big toe |

watched Morin the other night at the bears game.
he definitely needs some polish/experience, but he could be nasty and the shot is super heavy. - nails
I keep reading that he makes more and more progress as the season goes on. One thing you don't hear often on him is his heavy shot. We always hear about his size and build, and I've heard couple compliments on his skating. One big thing I've heard is his heart and dedication to working on his game and improving. Excited to see what he can do |

Watched Reece Wilcox.
I think he could become a solid contributor as stay at home guy with gostisbehere. Smotth sakter and 6'4'' I believe. Can move the puck |

Just looked it up Chara played around 80 games in the AHL, while Alzner played in over 100 games before sticking. I would say that Morin is developing at a pretty nice rate. Areas that still need to be improved upon no doubt.

100 too many, but yeah, its not like 19,000 fans tossed them. But .005% of the fans at the rink is enough to damn the whole fanbase in the eyes of the media.
Maybe we need to blow up the fanbase? - MBFlyerfan
To be completely truthful here, the Flyers organization has brought this whole thing on themselves.
When I first got my season tickets almost 30 years ago the seats in the Spectrum were mostly owned by families. Yes there were shared corporate seats down stairs but they were random. Corporate seating wasn't given a priority or encouraged by increasing ticket prices to the point where a upper middle class family couldn't afford to maintain their tickets without grouping together with 3 or more other families.
Today, monthly payments down stairs for two or more tickets are greater than the monthly payment on a luxury car. Two seats in the last row at the end of the building are more than most families car payment on a good used car.
There were rarely things thrown on the ice at the Spectrum. If someone threw something on the ice half of the section would stand up and point at the person who did it. That's just a fact.
I'd be willing to bet that on most nights 60%+ of the butts in the seats never made a ticket payment to the hockey club. They aren't invested in the team or the arena experience for the players, the fans next to them or the team in general. Their seats were either given to them (who cares, the seats were free) or scalped (I paid $400 for these seats, I'll do what I want).

100% correct! The fans at the Spectrum were loud as hell and could ride opponents and refs mercilessly, but they were a classy bunch who knew the game and the Flyers personnel inside and out. |
