I personally haven't seen it yet, but I did see the headlines, "Drouin wins hearts of fans back"

You buy out Umberger if (and only if) the NHL mandates that all players with NMCs must be protected for expansion, as he'd take up a slot. If that's not the case and/or he agrees to waive his NMC, then yeah, you keep him.

Also, if we're bringing in a "speedy 3rd line C," why the hell is Raymond playing the wing? Wouldn't the need be for a "speedy 3rd line LW?"

If Gagner will accept a $2M or less deal for one year, I'd resign him. Can step in and provide some extra offense.

Also I think I would prefer more size over Raymond. And not sure Eriksson is a fit with where he might get priced on his next deal.

Also I think Konecny could slide into the top 6 on a line with Couturier. He would be a playmaker I think Couturier could use. If Schenn is resigned I think That would be a good start in the top 6:

Voracek - Giroux - Simmonds
Konecny - Couturier - Schenn


I am curious as to what Schenn is going to be looking at? If his numbers are outrageous I wonder if Hextall looks to move him for maybe another RFA or would a team move a 1st rounder for him?

I remember all of the comments made about why the Flyers shouldn't try to get in on that guy, but the funniest ones were that even though when he got minutes with skilled players he produced -- and he was only pissed when Cooper flat-out screwed him out of the spot he won in camp and had produced before he got hurt -- now, we can't be sure he could play

Those were good times

That kid must come to the rink every day thinking about how much he hates Jon Cooper and he still is on fire right now
