Stamkos could be one of the new players and we have our high draft pick.( #1-3 please!!!!) If that 3rd line could regain chemistry from two years ago, that was our line 1. Now our good 3rd line becomes a great 4th line.

You added 2 potential new spots as opposed to me saying aside from the 4th line and maybe one big name aquistion (e.g. Stamkos....even though I still think he is particularly a bad idea at this point).....I think the roster will be similar to how we ended the season...AND we ended playing really well, 7-4 through the last 11.

I think ROR should get the C. He is th better leader IMO. Better offensive player shouldn't just get the A. Kind of like the Toews and Kane situation. Give Eichel and Reino the A's.

That idea is working real well for the Flyers though, right?



Edit: That might have come off a bit catty. Main point is the end of the season isn't the best litmus test for what we need. We go out with the same roster that we ended the season with and we'll end up with the same result. Perhaps a bit better due to player development but there won't be a jump from 23rd to 16th.
