Hawks board is very similar to what this board usually is like

Refs are not calling this series equally blues are getting away with everything Refs are in hitchs pocket

etc.......

Blues this year have always had the thought that you are never as good or as bad as your last game

Time to FINISH THEM

I'm not really nervous. I am not overconfident, but I think the Blues throughout this series (after Game 1) has been the better team when it's counted, the third period.

This series is one video review from being a sweep.

I don't want the series to go on any longer than it has to. The champs are the champs for a reason, they don't quit and won't quit. So I won't be confident until its truly over.

This team has shown me a lot of new poise in this series. Now let's see if they've learned how to keep their foot on the gas and finish this.

Anyone else notice this trend

Game 1 One Goal
Game 2 Two Goals
Game 3 Three Goals
Game 4 Four Goals

IF that trend continues and the blues score 5 I like their chances

Yes, but we didn't want to point it out. Thanks Jinxy.

I bet you're the guy that sits next to the pitcher who's throwing a no-hitter and yaks his ear off......

I think he is okay as the Blues scored two more goals that an inch or less of off sides got called back.

I just hope the sound guy has the original Mortal Combat sample of "FINISH HIM", ready for a face off in the dying seconds. Because that would be rad.

Looks like Gunnarsson in for Edmundson:

D pairs
Bouwmeester-Pietrangelo
Shattenkirk-Parayko
Gunnarsson-Bortuzzo

Forwards:
Schwartz-Lehtera-Tarasenko
Steen-Stastny-Brouwer
Fabbri-Berglund-Backes
Upshall-Brodziak-Ott

I am a fan of this as Edumndson has looked like a rookie the last couple games with some Jackman esque turnovers.

Realistically this team should come out fast but more importantly continue to play their game. If we get an early goal, awesome.

If not the Blues will get more chances in the 2nd half of the game. Hawks are going to lean on their top 6 forwards and top 4 dmen a lot. They will wear down, and they have to take risks.

Hit and frustrate Keith early. Rest of the D has been fairly invisible.

Hawks lines:

Panik-Toews-Kane
Panarin-Anisimov-Teravainen
Ladd-Kruger-Hossa
4th line????

Hopefully Vladdy gets to play against the 2nd line a lot!

This is finally the team that I thought we have had the last few years. The depth before was not real. A couple of injuries and we were toast.

Now we have a legit star and sniper. A really good crew of secondary scoring. A very solid defense. We have 4 lines that can be played at basically all times without feeling that you can't play them or you are in trouble. All 6 defensemen (and our 2 extras) can play and we don't HAVE to play any of them 30+ minutes to hide the others. And Elliott has been outstanding, with Allen on the bench who can step in if needed. (No longer necessary to just ride the starter even if a change is needed)

13 more please!

Interested to see that second line as TT has been pretty invisible this series

Playing with Panarin might help him break out a bit

That seems to favor the hawks with whomever the 41-4 pairing is out against

Love it, although not sure how it wasn't a penalty or the Hawks didn't even stick up for him....

Losing brings out the worst in some fans. If the Blues move on, it's because they deserve it. Although you know I hope they don't.

Did you see how his teammates just skated away and didn't even defend him? Definitely should have been a penalty.
