What is wrong with the ice tonight? Did they have a concert last night or something? - Antilles
It appears that the refs have merely tipped it in Chicago's favor. Looks very uneven from where I'm sitting. Hitch was right. |

Brutal. Probably one of the worst calls I have ever seen.
Go Blues!!! - DuranDuran
This game is awful. Blues are getting the shaft. |

Andrew Shaw is a P.O.S. and needs to be taken out. He keeps going after Elliot. |

Blues have gotten in Crawford's face as well. It's just a penalty when Blues do it but allowed if it's hawks. |

How do the Hawks get a PP outta that? What a terrible call. Crawford should of got a 5 minute major for that. BS call for the Hawks like always... - Mino42
Technically punching with a blocker is a match penalty too. |

No excuses. Win anyway. Sort of the Blues motto this year. No reason to stop now. |

I know playoff hockey dials up the intensity and chippiness/dirty play but this year seems a lot worse - Det/TB suff, Neal/Kesler suff, WA/PHI stuff, this series, etc. Lots of boards, stick work, elbows, etc.
Maybe I'm just getting soft |

Agree. Faced adversity all year long. Could have gone away early this year with all the injuries. Overcome the bad calls forget about them and play our game. We can take this 3rd and right now that is all that is needed. |

Even if Toews didn't push Fabbri a lot, he definitely cut off the area in which he could avoid contact. He took away his peel off lane essentially. |

In between periods I just read the Hawks board for entertainment. every 5 min the Hawks are the best team ever or the worst. Just watch the freaking game. Reminds me of my girl on her period over there. |

come on. unless you just started watching hockey tonight, you know the calls go both ways. the refs try like hell to even up the calls for both sides regardless of where the penalties occur. it's also impossible to watch the game as a fan and remain objective throughout |

Yes, and he bumped him when Fabbri was shooting on a rebound, so not in balance as he was reaching to shoot.
Fans saying he lowered his shoulder are either completely blind, or such big homers.
I get why Crawford was mad. Both goals are getting bumped a lot. But you can't do that and get away with it.
Well, I is you can since he did and got a power play out of it.

Dumb slash after the whistle there by the right D. Could easily have gotten a slashing call against there...can't do that in a 1 goal game now. |

He's good for one big playoff goal a year, maybe? The OT goal on Quick was great. |

Per Dan Murphy - Matt Murray said he was happy because the Pens got the two points tonight. Um. no.
Great job by Murray so far in the series. Happy for him making the most out of his time. |

Reminds me of his quote after the OT goal in game 1. Something about a prayer and it being answered.
He saw the shot about to come and put his head down and prayed, "please score and don't kill me"
