Off topic, and not being insensitive, does McCormick's 1.5 mill still count against our cap??? |

Impressions of Eichel: "He thinks he's entitled, doesn't work hard ever, doesn't care enough about the game, etc. " -- Hardhat somewhere
"He's not even in the same league as Mcjesus and will never be in the same discussion ever again. Silly Sabres fans" -- Oilers and Leafs fans

Side note..P Ham mentioned on schopp after the end presser that he thought jack had an injury that was nagging (possible sports hernia). No draft/ combine stuff should have him coming out of the gate fresher.
Kane is the make or break of next season imo.
If he can stay healthy and play like the end of the season(passing) you may see a bump in production.
It was nice to see him golfing with Jack and Sam the other day. |

Nylander and Marner lead the Marlies to a playoff run, while Eichel and Reinhart only got the Sabres to increase by 30 pts this past season. So there's your undeniable proof that the Leafs future stars are dominate over the Sabres.

I think Eichel will be a PPG player. Which would mean a top 5-10 scorer in the league.
If we can get him a winger that can actually score, who knows. |

Good job again Michael,
I see Eichel as a kid becoming a man very quickly. His maturity next year will be how he gets defined as an all around player. Knowing when to be selfish and when to dish the pucks to get his linemates going is totally different from his college days and his second half of the season became a revaluation to him.
Would love to see us trade for Drouin but his playoff performance will probably keep him in Tampa.
A Drouin-Eichel-Reinhardt line would be awesome to watch for years. Looking forward to this off seasons moves. |

I wasn't on the Drouin bandwagon, but that kid has some serious skills. Now i wish we would of bought on him low. No way he is going anywhere now.

thx...on drouin, will never discount his skill-level...am interested in seeing how he plays in the next round should the bolts finish off the wings...that said, with the stamkos situation, tampa may be forced to keep drouin...kinda like vanek and the sabres |

Well remember now, they already have Stamkos, Vesey, anyone else who is from Ontario on their team... so that's why they'll contend next year. of course.
