A NYI fan threw beer and soda on Denis Potvin & his broadcast partner after last night's loss. Embarrassing. #Isles - Scoob
Unpossible, these things only happen in Philly.

I am amazed that Manning gets as much attention here as he does...
As a 5(stretch)/6/7 dman he is fine.
When your top line is MIA or goalie is giving up goals from 200 feet and you have no other scoring swapping Manning and Medvedev isn't going to help much.

Who routinely (or ever) has given up a 200 foot goal? Can you give up a 200 foot goal on an NHL rink? |

He hasn't brought offense from the blue line and carried the puck up the ice much this season. In past seasons, yes, but he's been pretty ineffective offensively this year, and his transition game has been shot to poop.
Also, contract cost should never be considered. They were willing to send AMac to Lehigh Valley, and since there's no cap in the playoffs, they could healthy scratch him.
And yes, leadership and "veteran" should count. But when your bread and butter is being an offensive defeseman and you're not providing offense, you're not effective. - jmatchett383
Amac has blocked shots and played okay in the defensive zone...still has the same limitations in the NZ...but he has been very good on the offensive side and has made several quick smart decisions and puck handles to get out of trouble and up the ice. he looks like when they traded for him to be honest |

Agreed, I've been pleasantly surprised. I also think that the Gudas/Manning pairing had a strong game last night.

Well, I guess you'd have to stand halfway between the other goal line and end boards and bank it off the boards all of the way down into the other goal. |

Nah..that makes no sense..Caps are best team in the league, have the best goalie in the world, have veteran leadership up and down lineup, high end offensive talent.
Flyers are losing because Manning. |

No, there is no way to shoot a puck 200 feet into a goal on an NHL rink unless you bank it off of something. If you take away the corners, the longest distance you can shoot (if we don't count the stick blade width) is 193.72 feet. |

We must be watching different games.
Imho, at even strength they're hanging in - nowhere near outplaying; special teams they're getting crushed. - Scoob
They are out scored at EVSTR 5-3 and one of those goals was the brutal Mason Goals. Fact is the Flyers have out played Washington in all 4 1st periods and 2 2nd periods. They also have an even 2nd period to their name as well. Washington has only ouplayed Philly in all 4 3rds and 2nd period of Game 1 |
