Looked like a pretty blatant hit to the head and maybe jumping into the hit. Obviously the character of the guy he hits doesn't matter and I know you're just saying that make a point. Here is the hit and a fair questioning of if it will be supplementary discipline: http://www.hockeyfeed.com...th-a-huge-hit-to-the-head - coffee junkie
head shot. should be a game.
like Wilson should have gotten a major/game for his boarding. |

6-1 when I am in class on Wednesday nights and they play. I knew last night was a win because of it. Friday night no class. - hockeylover
Quick, enroll in something that has class Friday night! |

Going out to watch the game with the buddy, they usually do well when I'm drinking some adult beverages.

I can't believe we won a game - PhillySportsGuy
I can, they have outplayed WAS for long stretches of the series. They just haven't been able to solve Holtby and have had a few bad periods. A couple of bounces the other way and people would be talking about how they can't believe WAS might choke again.
That said, WAS is the better and deeper team and I fully expect this to be over next game or maybe game 6. |

It was contact to the head.
It wasn't intentional, and Wilson played a huge role in putting his head there to be hit.
It will surely be looked at. Whether it is suspend-able is a coin flip.

We must be watching different games.
Imho, at even strength they're hanging in - nowhere near outplaying; special teams they're getting crushed. |

it is almost by design...they spend lots of time in the capitals zone but its mostly around the edges. sure anytime ovechkin gets a shot off it feels like its a HDSC but Flyers are getting chances |

By far last night was ghost s best game. Glad the team was able to taste victory in the playoffs. This is also valuable learning experience for hakstol. Been proud of this team all year. Never quit when they could have.
More reinforcements arrive next season no reason not to set the bar a little higher next season. Fair expectation is to finish top 3 in Division |

I used to bank with them. I'm not sure what HSBC has to do with Ovechkin's shots, though. |

PEB will be replacing Laughton in the lineup, other than that it will be the same. Who do you want taking Read's spot? Umberger, Weal, or other? - jmatchett383
Oops I forgot to finish my thought due to a sudden traffic meeting. I meant to continue to ask would anyone be opened to replacing Read with Weal. |

yes and yes, agree. Last night was the first game the Flyers didn't look a step behind the Crapitals. The first three games they started strong only to fade away, they looked and played tired.
No way should Manning get a game, if Wilson didn't for basically the same type of hit on Jake. I'd say the hit on Jake was slightly worse on the targeting.
So if you were Hakstol who would you put in net on Friday?
