Dead fuking horse, but here it is anyway:
Nobody says 91 stinks. He costs so much $ and it might prevent us from being able to fill in the missing pieces when we are ready for a Cup run in a couple years. Even with him we are not a Cup team next year. If we are, then the crappy Mouson/Gio contracts are in the way. I do, however, trust TM to do the right things.
IF we get him I will cheer as loud as anyone. I will change my daughter's name to Steven for Chrissakes. But I will also be holding my breath big time once the kids hit RFA time.
Cup teams HAVE to be deeeeep as well as having top-end talent.

Disagree. With him the sabres are a threat, especially if they acquire a top 2/dman and sign someone like Vesey. All is on hold untio the lottery. If we're lottery lucky, it all changes |

If we win lottery, Matthews for Subban? I'd consider |

That's tough. If Mon put that on the table I would come back with their first added in. Wishful thinking. |

Absolutely, but tougher to swallow a move like that in our division. |

That would be tough. I think that I would rather have another Eichel.
Also, that would mean no Stamkos. No way you could have a $9 million Subban and Stamkos.
So if that trade was made, I guess you would be solidifying your defense with the money spent, instead of your forwards. |

Is anyone else getting these atrocious (frank)ing Glad ads on here that can't be muted? Since I'm trying to watch the game I can't just turn the volume down. I'm going to smash my computer. |

Tried. Won't work on this site. They block it.
Edit: Hmm, it's working now. When I first installed it it wouldn't let me use it. Weird.
Edit2: Wow, shot up to 296 in about 8 seconds. And companies wonder why people use Adblock smh...
Edit3: Sorry Pach, you don't get my clicks tonight. |

This is juicy....I'm not sure what I would do if this was on the table. Risto and PK would be dynamite together. |

I hate Nolan for making GMTM trade Neuvirth. |

I wouldn't do Matthews for Subban due to the $$. $9m now vs. Reasonable Matthews for a while. I like Nash in that his contract goes away in 2 years. I don't like him cuz I'm not sure he'll return to 2014 levels or even close |

My only problem with Nash is his playoff performances. Might not be a big deal for two years as I do not see them competing for a cup before then.
But the question is, what is his trade price for only two years? Especially not knowing what kind of contract he would want after those two years. |

I wasn't very impressed with him when he was here but glad to see him find some success. I bet he's kicking himself for signing a two year deal for so low. If he'd gone for one year teams would be backing up the truck to sign him. |
