The only reason I picked the Rangers was because of the Pens goaltending. Turns out that was the problem with the Rangers. Oh well. Still have my finals set.

So take this with a grain of salt and I can't really divulge in it more but a buddy of mine hung out with a current Sabre recently through mutual friends and a certain free agent was brought up. The Sabre told my friend the organization loves that player and that they have been here to Buffalo a few times and loves it and that he he hopes we can sign the player it would be very beneficial to the team...

Yes, when he actually does some of the things people want to give him credit for. People treat him like a perennial 30 goal scorer when they talk about his "bad luck" this year.

He's a solid player, but oh my god I've never seen so many people go out of there way to make excuses for an incredibly mediocre injury filled season.

Hmm, either my post was deleted, or I never hit submit. Either way, yeah, no (frank)ing way is Kiko a HOFer, and I like the guy. I wasn't a huge fan of the trade when it happened, then Kiko got hurt, again, and while McCoy was hurt the entire year, he was pretty damn good when he played.

Investigation ? No charges . Did nothing wrong . His biggest fault was being part of the package that came back for Myers . Some folks will never forgive him for that . Came off shoulder surgery and like the rest of the team took a while to get going . Next season will be a much bigger factor in how I pass judgement on him . But As much as I hated the Myers trade I have let the hostility go and moved on.
