And as we've stated many times before name a guy other than Kunitz who has been a college undrafted FA who has done anything worthwhile in the league? When Kunitz is at the top of a list maybe it's best not to pin your hopes on them.

Peters still has many years left and will have more first team , pro bowls etc then brown when he is done imo

Has nothing to do with the trade at this point. He had games (especially before he got hurt for the last few games) where he was excellent, and some where he wasnt. That's just who he is, which is fine. But look at the season as a whole. Even if you exclude the investigation.

Kane did exactly what I hoped he would this year .......... showed flashes of brilliance but not so great he wrecked a top pick.

Take a minute and read two posts before yours where I said Kunitz is THE most successful college undrafted FA. I'm not giving away Kane because we have both Stamkos and Vesey. Will never happen unless we get a legit #1D. And then only at the deadline if, and only if, Vesey isn't in Roch like he probably will be at least to start and is playing lights out on the big club. That's the only way I move Kane. And the odds of that happening are about 5,000:1 and that's being generous.

And second there have been so many good undrafted college FA to name some Dustin Penner, Andy McDonald , glencross ,Tyler bozak, Dan Boyle ,Dwayne roloson ,brain rafalski ,Ed Belfour ,Martin St. Louis , there is many more I'm sure

Vesey would not be in roch at all he's not signing with any team to play in the ahl
