Gonna be interesting to see what happens with the Kings and Rangers, suspect a bunch of re-tooling in both places.

Funny how fast teams have trended the last couple of years. With NY & LA drafting and developing is not an option, they can ill afford downtime in those markets.

I don't think I've ever seen the Rangers draft and develop a plethora of talent there, other than Kreider who have they developed recently?

The Kings however have drafted and developed the majority of their Championship teams. Lombardi looks to have given out some really bad contracts though, not much forethought on a few of them!

That's gonna bite him in the ass.

With all of the sports to follow in California inserting youth like VAN has would not go over well, and like you said they are also handcuffed. I get it, who wouldn't want to play in SoCal? The players are in control with some of those deals, sound familiar?

Rangers were in the finals 2 years ago. They make the playoffs most years.

Picking up good free agents is more valuable than most people give credit.

Good morning,

Playoff thoughts on the Rangers and Blackhawks through a Canucks lens in my early-bird blog.

I'm off to liveblog the Caps and Flyers and see what this Michal Neuvirth situation is all about...

Go to church , heathen.

I actually was putting wifi into an Anglican Church on Tuesday ( in the office) , they said they did not want it in the actual church area . They thought people would not pay attention to the service. I told them they would probably get more people going to church if they could stream Sunday football
