It really depends on what transpires this summer. What they do with Burrows and Higgins, where they draft, if they can attract some good UFA's.

Drafting and developing takes years Vantel. Look at Tavares, he's 25 years old & is just now leading his club into the second round. He's been in the league for seven years.

Sutter is a good serviceable middling center, he's a veteran, he'll help the younger players but he's far from a difference maker.

I think what's lost in the Sutter debate were the other tangibles he brings to the table. The core is on it's way out, you still need someone to demonstrate character and work ethic to the new guard.
