I'm probably the only one on here that thinks their D isn't that bad. Addition by subtraction losing Weber and Bart. tree and Hutton with more experience. Larsson may bring some offense. Just having Edler healthy will make a huge difference. Scoring and toughness are my biggest concerns. Our team is way too small
- CanuckDon

Our top-4 is laughable.

You could say the same for any Canadian city outside of Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. Yet people go places to win. Detroit is an even bigger poophole and players flocked there for years.

- neem55

Why do people keep saying Detroit is a poophole? Detroit has some of the poorest and richest neighbour hoods in the States. They only show the poopty neighbour hoods on TV. The rich in Detroit don't want to be taxed to help the poor.

Dream Lottery Scenario:

VAN 1st
ARZ 2nd

Trade #1 for #2 ++

Take Laine

- storm88

That would be pretty good, Strome would have to be in the deal though we need that 1C position filled

When I went there it seemed like a poophole... big industrial, dirty, stinky poophole. That's my reason.

Bob Mackenzie still has Chychrun at 5, good enough for me.

1 Matthews
2 Laine
3 JP
4 Tkachuk
5 Chychrun

Swap Dubois and Chychrun and I like it.

No, I'll stick with Bob Mackenzie on this one. His value dropped cause he got injured. He got a point a game in the playoffs and is 6'2 215 and the best defensive skater/stickhandler in the draft and bangs. His defensive metrics are incredible if you factor in the fact that Sarnia wasn't even really a good team this year. Sergachev's stock dropped because he didn't defend well in the playoffs, Chychrun's because he got injured out of the Hlinka. I'd be happy with either at 5 or 6 but prefer Chychrun

A true #1 center.
- VanHockeyGuy

Not overly worried about a centre yet. I have more trust in Bo and Sutter right now than I do in Hank.

Ya I agree that if we fall out of the top-3 trading down a couple spots would be a saavy move.

If that's all it takes to be poopty then there are dozens of poopty cities in NA.

Washington moves on in another nail biter. Now they face Crosby. NBC executives have been taken off suicide watch. They might even get some viewers for that series!

With regards to Carol mention AV got outcoached, I didn't watch a ton of that series, but when you are getting blown out repeatedly, I think the players have to wear most of that. If you switched the rosters, AV wins that series.

The Blues are up against it now! They need their own Dragon Slayer to emerge. Blowing a 2 goal lead is not a good sign. That's going to be a hell of a game 7.

Yeah, I don't think anyone is denying that. But this is the bankrupt city that has a neighbouring town with poison water. It's not exactly a beacon of beauty.

My point is it's not the city it's the idiots running the city and state.
