Agreed denver post coverage is not very good. Chambers is not very good and is almost as bad as dater. Dater is a troll. I get better avs chat here and opinions that are fun to discuss

The Post coverage is terrible and it doesnt appear they understand the game. Dater is simply looking for internet traffic and has about lost all credibility.

From my knowledge, there has been no indication publicly that the Avs would not sign Butcher. I think even a few months ago Sakic was talking about him and compher.

Chambers is an idiot and all he cares about is the Pios and players born in Colorado. Could care less about the Avs.

Granted there is always a chance when it comes to NCAA guys that if they dont get what they are looking for, they can go the UFA route. Chambers has 0 sources and wouldnt be the one breaking the story about Butcher being traded/not signing

I remember reading an article about butcher and he said he is in constant contact with the avs. So I think a deal will be done next year. I think when Beauchemin contract runs out he could slide into a third pairing role. But that's away off yet. But from all acounts he looks like a solid two way player who cam run a PP. Always a useful thing to have

Its not shocking that he wants to return to the Pios. They had a great run but a heart breaking ending. They aren't losing many of their big time players, so they will be back fighting for the national championship next season. Cant fault a guy for wanting that

Very true, also he finishes his degree which he said he wants too, and it might be best for his development as well. Still a few years away from the avs roster. 1 year in ncaa, 1 solid year in the ahl

Does anyone really know how it works? I've been told multiple things... I get every has a 'shot' at winning, then I've been told the draft goes from 15th spot (moat in points) to 1st spot (last in points) so from my limited understanding(could be totally wrong of course) the 15th place team have a 97%of not getting first overall and a 3% of getting it. So when they draw for that spot 15th, they will mostly get it. That's just from what I understand amd could be totally wrong...

In other news I ran the simulator and avs picked in the top 3 twice in 10 try for me!! And Edmonton wasnt in the top 3, four times haha but yes I'm pretty excited to see where we end up and guessing what sakic and the gang decide to do

So, Radulov is pretty much a done deal which seems to mean we let Boeddker walk.
