It's knee jerk, and it'd probably be the wrong one. But look at what Toronto is doing now. The previous regime screwed that team and the fanbase. Now the example of the Leafs isn't mutually exclusive, but some similarities are there. The Rangers don't have a legit #1 Centerman. They don't have an elite scoring winger and have maybe 3 or 4 capable d-men, 1 of the being worth of the praise. All of this being held afloat by a 33 year old goalie.
