Well those businesses basically bribe the gov't to continue the status quo
That side takes WAY more advantage of the system than these ppl on welfare u talk about
Like I said before, what u bring up does need to be addressed...
But there's infinitely more money on the other side of the spectrum
And addressing that would actually make a difference - jdfitz77
both sides need to have an exit strategy for both loop holes
problem is republicans are paid for by the businesses
the democrats are re-elected by the poor
again both sides need to grow up |

I've always laughed at those that believe giving breaks to big businesses will have a trickle down effect on employees for those businesses as those businesses prove time and again all they care about is the almighty dollar and literally nothing else, aside from window dressing for positive press from time to time. - kingcong39
Agree
No business that makes its goods in another country should receive ANY tax break whatsoever
And companies that make goods in other countries should have their goods heavily taxed in order to have them sold in the US |

right now, companies are leaning toward hiring temps, to avoid paying health insurance
those that do pay health insurance, are paying less and employees are paying more
it's more of a mess then people admit
my health insurance has tripled in the last 4 years and the coverage is ten times worse - homiedclown
Mine has doubles in the last 5 years, but otherwise ditto on what you said.
The companies all blame it on Obamacare, but I bet if they repealed Obamacare and things went back to the way they were prior, that the quality wouldn't improve much nor would the cost of insurance go down much.
All the insurance companies took this as their chance to raise consumer costs and lowering overall benefits, and they ran with that idea. |

I have a family of 4 and I have to budget $5,000 every year for health care because that's the deductible before our insurance kicks in. And the tax code doesn't give you and breaks for that spending until you exceed 7% of your gross income. WTF. |

Yep...
Totally agree with all of that
That's why I won't call myself one or the other
And frankly,
Anyone that does is really just aligning themselves with ideals that their side doesn't live up to
That's crazy to me

I laughed when I heard of this cancer drug a patient needs
the vial has 10 times what the patent needs for their dose, but only comes in the larger size
of course we pay 10 times the actual cost for that dose |

It all needs to be addressed, but the problem is it is only addressed without actual real, intelligent action taken to begin correcting these issues because it pays more to just talk about it, get elected every term, and keep going to the bank endlessly. - kingcong39
Yep...
Like I said...
The status quo keeps the rich on BOTH sides very, very happy |

the A&W Root Beer Pop-Tart is “bubbling with root-beer flavored filling,” while the Orange Crush Pop-Tart has a citrus-flavored filling that will “tingle your taste buds.” |

Eichel had 3 less points than Kessel.
Kessel had Crosby and Malkin............ Only had 2 more goals than Eichel
Pass on Kessel. |

The place i work for just changed health care provider...
This enabled them to effectively do a reset & change policy for who they'd provide health care to
Myself, and 90% of the other ppl who had health care partially paid for by my company are now ineligible
Basically, only management is now eligible
This is the crap that businesses are pulling so they can make more $$$

You're blaming NAFTA on Clinton?
That's 100% wrong
It's was passed by Congress & signed by him shortly after he came into office
However...
It was Bush's baby
He did all the work behind it
"Following diplomatic negotiations dating back to 1990 among the three nations, U.S. President George H. W. Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and Mexican President Carlos Salinas, each responsible for spearheading and promoting the agreement, ceremonially signed the agreement in their respective capitals on December 17, 1992. - jdfitz77[5]"
He was FORCED to sign it? News to me.
