#1) I don't want anything to do with Kessel
And why would Pitt trade him anyways?
2) I'll give the 3rd for Nash, but not Ennis
I think Ennis will bounce back & be a 20+ scorer again next year.
And the reason NYR will have to move Nash is for Cap reasons, so it seems unlikely they'd want to take back a Cap hit like Ennis has in the deal.
with them holding 1 mil of Nash's deal, they only save very minimally. That deal wouldn't really make sense for them.
I agree, but the fantasy of "Work hard, study and you'll go places" is so overplayed and just not true anymore in this country.
I work in student loans, there are millions of kids who spent thousands and went to school for years, who are in the exact same situation and the lazy person who wants to sleep all day.
Even for them, they can go to work for 30k a year, spend 8 grand of that on student loan payments, and get close to nowhere, or they can live off the government, and not pay their student loans.
It's just an imperfect system all around. - sbroads24
The cost structure of a 4 year college education is an out of control behemoth. It feels like a modern day pyramid scheme in a way. Yes, you'll end up making X amount more over your lifetime as opposed to somebody who didn't go, but you won't be even until years and years later.
In a non-Stamkos scenario we could certainly afford this. I just worry about the room, and how these guys would mesh. Certainly a lot of goal-scoring talent, but I might be a little nervous about the chemistry situation.

Add to that the cluster(frank) that is the student loans "system"... And what the government makes off of those kids/parents
Man, back reading through some of these post, it shows us a perfect example of why political views should be banned from this site.
It's crazy how often the loudest people are usually the most ignorant on the topic. For the sake of everyone's sanity let's keep politics off of hockeybuzz.

Also, it's a FEDERAL minimum wage.
If you think it takes the same amount of money to get by in Rugby North Dakota that it takes to get by in Chicago, your poorly informed. If you think its takes the same amount of money to get by in Rugby as it would in NYC or SF, you're nuts. - Der Kaiser
Agreed, but the Federal minimum wage, is still well below inflation figures just about anywhere.

Who said he was?
But your acting like it was all on Clinton,
When in reality it was all worked out by Bush
But nope...
It's all the Dems fault, the Reps had nothing to do with it
What a joke - jdfitz77
It's everybody's fault. Career politicians are a huge problem. That's why Trump is doing so well. You're right in saying everything big that has been enacted benefits the rich on both sides. Used to be one didn't BECOME rich once they became a politician. The fix has been in for decades.

Fair enough
Anyone hear anything lately on Caggiula?
I know we're one of the finalists...
But the only team I heard about him visiting so far was Philly
Thankfully, the got crushed by the Caps in that game!

I actually thought this was pretty civil compared to most political debates.
