You don't know the half of it homey. Disembarked about 9AM street level in NYC. My Dad was supposed to be there but a 68 yr old man w no GPS or sense of direction got lost in the City & we were on the corner of 12th Av & 49th st in the rain for 2 hours. - B2B76

Reports out of Russia from some KHL fans is that Buchnevich is back in the K for two more years. Praying this is not true. - Anthony5967
They signed Dergachev for 2 more years. Kings thought he was coming over. |

Edm 4th overall (likely Tkachuk) and Draisitl for McDonagh. That trade helps both teams, trade history is there, replenishes the youth and trade Brass for Shattenkirk. Do everything possible to sign Stamkos and trade Nash for either a defenseman or picks. I don't care what ppl say about Nash he still has trade value. Guy is a season removed from a 40 goal season. Teams will take a chance on that. |

Or teams could look at him as a 32 year old winger with a 7.8 million dollar cap hit that is 3 seasons removed from a concussion and recently had a "Bone bruise" hamper him for almost 2 months. |

EDM isn't doing that. They don't see McDonagh as Rangers fans do. They'd part with that pick for an Erik Karlsson, Pk Subban though. They look at McDonagh's numbers of opposition shot attempts and they wanna pass on him. |

30 teams in the league don't look at him like that. Someone will take a chance looking to add offense. Maybe Florida for Petrovic and a mid round pick. |

Ya you're right, McD is terrible. Has nothing to do with playing with Girardi. Who would possibly want him. |

I think you are right that Nash still has value, especially since he only has two years left on the deal.
I think Draisaitl and number 4 is probably a non-starter for Edmonton. First, McDonagh is a left hand shot and it seems Edmonton is looking for a right hand shot. Second, I think you'd have better luck looking at Edmonton to give up RNH than LD.
Also, do the Rangers really want to give up McDonagh when a Girardi buyout seems probable this year or next, Boyle retired, Yandle is on the way out the door and Staal seems to be regressing? |

Tear it down and rebuild. If you trade Mcdonagh you get significantly worse, imo. |

I know the Devils and Rags would never make a trade like that but Nash would be a great fit for NJ and the Devils have quite a few second round picks and two good RHD prospects in Santini and Jacobs. Would give the Devils a C/RW combo of Henrique and Nash, Zajac and Palmieri, Zacha and DSP, and would give the Rangers multiple early-ish picks and D prospects to replace Staal, Boyle, Yandle, etc.
Never happen between those two teams in a million years though. |

Is a tear down and rebuild realistic when the Hank window is only going to be open for a few more years? |

They're not tearing down anything. Retooling in a way like they did when they sent Gaborik out for Brassard is the best bet. |

1 player is not a rebuild. Especially when you get back what you're getting back. |

NO way there's a rebuild. There wasn't a full rebuild when we were awful in the early 2000s, there won't be one now when we're a decent team still...(well, sometimes.) |

Yeah, I (along with most Devils fans) was getting concerned he would go back to school this fall and go UFA to the Rangers because of that. They really need to do something about that loophole. |

Nobody lit Brooks up like Torts though. Some of the most entertaining post game moments. |

I think he'll sign.
Edit: With the Devils if he's not already.
Double Edit: Just checked and he's signed already. Yeah, very rarely do guys pull what Schultz, Hayes and Vesey did |

If we don't sign Buchnevich it will further the horrible Yandle trade, looking around atthe remaining teams and it's blatantly obvious how we just don't match up to the talent level, too many guys who are 2nd tier talent, I think what Has helped us is we have more 2nd tier talent to make up a little for the lack of top tier talent, I'd give these guys two more years, if they can't win I'd tear it down to the ground
Next year has to finally be the year Kreider scores 30, McDonagh needs to provide more offense and return to the Norris candidate we saw earlier in his career, Hayes needs to take the next step, there's only one sophomore year, Step, Brass, Zucc and Miller need to be more consistent |

Yeah Santini, Jacobs and Wood all signed just before the NHL season ended. Santini made his NHL debut in the last game. |
