Buchnevich has no new deal with the KHL, no reason for anyone to lose their minds yet, I still believe he is coming over. |

I think the problem is there is like one Capital fan who posts on this site and the Penguin fans are dying to fight with somebody so they still come here |

Ssssup Jimmy? Where do we go from here w this team? I really feel we need to bring in more grit & serious leadership. We tried to upgrade w E STaal but that was a disaster for the most part.
This might sound out of leftfield & we probably couldn't fit his contract in here, but how about signing Lucic? I know he has said he wants to resign w LA & not test the waters but who knows. Big galloot, I know but he has won a Cup & plays tough, can score & could really make a difference. |

I wouldn't mind Lucic but being one of the top names on the UFA market is gonna be grossly overpaid. |

I was visiting a friend who lives in DC over the weekend, his apartment is connected to the Verizon Center. Man it was pretty crazy down there for the game Saturday night. Fun times. |

And the conversation ends there, I know. That grit & nastiness this team needs, Tanner Glass only does so much. |

they've gotta make some cap space
in 2009 things looks bleak and capped out and then they magically made Gomez disappear
they need to be creative and I think a move that nobody has even speculated about needs to happen |

Yea, all it can take is one creative move & it can change a teams chemistry & resolve. I just see G getting another yr older & beat up. M Staal declining, Nash just kind of being there. A guy on any team making what he makes can't just be "another forward". |

I think they will buy Girardi out, I think it pains them to do it, but ultimately it will be done by the draft |

I hope so. Looks like then Skeij & McILRATH would get full time spots. |

It would suck though if a major factor in Girard's struggles this season was his knee cap not fully being healed. I can just imagine them buying him out and he regains his old solid form next season for someone else while we are stuck with the remaining cap hit. But I understand we do need cap space. |

Great bro, upper 60s, low 70s sunny every day but Saturday when we got closer to NY. Kids had fun & were very well behaved. We drank but nothing crazy. Couple nights at the on board Casino, we gave our donation. |

This is what conflicts me, I know we may need to rid ourselves of a declining Defensman but I believe he's still a very good shutdown defensman when fully healthy and now he has the chance to be that with this summer off |

I'll tell you I couldn't believe the amount of Islander paraphernalia I saw on a lot of the people on board. I joked w my wife I have never seen that many isles fans together in 1 place ever, including the Nassau Coliseum. |
