For me it will. While I would love Tarasenko on this team, "if " McIlrath could play 2nd pairing next year, i'm ok with it. Rangers need help defensively and if he could step in seamlessly thats a huge plus for this team.

yep, that's the point with this expansion NMC rule, and you can't buy out injured players
