Yeah, we did this already. Murray definitely said he'd like to make a pick because it'd be cool for the fans. And the OP took it to mean he was not going to trade the pick when Murray never said that he wasn't trading the pick. Depending on how things shake out he may try and trade it. I think a trade on the level of ROR or bigger is even better for the fans than taking a guy 8th overall, no offense to Juolevi or whomever, but that's just me. For me ROR even overshadowed Eichel. Eichel was drafted the night of the lotto for all intents and purposes the draft just made it official, but then we went out and made a blockbuster trade on the floor of the draft! That was huge!
