Ya, I really like Marner. Very similar to Kane.
But it was funny seeing the history of guys drafted 1st overall and how so many of them have never won a Cup.

4: Tkachuck
5: Dubois
6: Nylander OR Juoleleivooilevi or whatever the (frank)

We're going to get either Tkachuk, Dubois or one of the three defensive studs. How do we lose exactly?

Since we didn't get one of the holy Trinity, I would like to see JB go all in to a full rebuild and try to acquire another 1st round pick.

If Edmonton does not move their pick in a trade I feel that they take Tkachuk. They need another wing more than a center. Which leaves us with the 2nd best center in Dubois. I know the need is defence but you cant pass up a center that early in the draft.

Yup. The top 9 will be those 3 and the 6 forwards so if you can trade 5 for 10 do it and draft Brown. If Brown is gone take one of those 3 dmen.

Not sure maybe it gets you another 2nd but worth it if you can get brown at 10 then 2 dmen in the 2nd round. Clague, stanley or johansen.
