Can we just relax and enjoy the win? We haven't drafted a legit franchise centre in years and people think the Leafs brass is going to move this pick? No way unless OEL is involved as well as Dvorak and their pick this year, not Tinordi.

As said the Leafs really like the upside of Nylander and Tkachuk. They could get one of them with the 7th pick. They would also get Domi, Tinordi, and either Strome or Dvorak. Strome and Domi both want to play for Toronto and Matthews wants to play for Arizona, he would also sell tickets in the desert. If Matthews was in last years draft he would have slotted somewhere between Eichel and Strome. Strome is a big franchise centre as well and some would have picked him over Matthews if he was allowed in last years draft. I will enjoy the win, but the win could be better than Matthews alone.

I see your point but Strome is no Matthews and I believe Matthews is better. I just want them to find a way to crack top 10 again and get Tkachuk or Juolevi.
