After watching these playoffs, they are rough. We need to get all big guys. - sippyd
Pat Kane isn't very big, Duncan Keith is like a pocket defenseman compared to some of these monsters playing now. And they've got 3 cups. But you could also say Anze Kopitar and Jake Muzzin, although he's no Weber, he's bigger than Keith. Doughty and Keith are about the same size so that would've been a bad comparison. Bottom line is you need the best players, no matter their shape.
I feel sorry for spurs fans....god had a plan for leicester this season....and you guys weren't in it
EDIT: but my god what an accomplishment....this is Leicester....LEICESTER! - feetontheair22
Even the Spurs weren't great for the last few years. They weren't Leicester, but they weren't Man City either. I know they have the champions league, but that's based off of last seasons results. The Premier League needs to have their own playoffs. Even if they do it college football style.
I've often thought that hockey, to really curb tanking, should go to a relegation format. The 30th place team gets relegated to the AHL, but even the worst team, last years Sabres would still dominate the AHL, also they wouldn't be actively tanking, plus you'd be taking the best AHL team, the Marlies, out of the AHL to step up to the NHL. Plus salaries, where they play, what they're eligible for and when. It's just way too much, but it's interesting to think about on the poopter.
Aparently you are not familiar with the process. When you wine and dine someone the point is to impress them. I wouldnt be impressed with them taking me to a sports bar with crappy food - MCGUIZZY
Yeah, but in the sports sense, it's "look at our locker room facilities" (wine) and "look at the team" (dine) and, "oh, by the way, we have a state of the art practice facility attached to the arena with a hotel for your parents and a popular restaurant/bar(dessert).

I have no idea.
I am just going by history of the success rate of undrafted college free agents. Sure, Martin St Louis was very good and there may be a few others.
But history shows that undrafted college free agents usually don't make it. - rmiethaner
There have been tons of good undrafted college free agents but to add to your point I don't think he's that great to go all out he could be a 20 - 20 guy

Still want bigger players. Can't wait to see the goalies when the padding comes down to size. Advantage Lehner. He will still be a cow. A good thing.
