It was really a comment for CanuckDon. He stated you will never hear anyone call the Haglin, Kessel, Bonino line "The Bonino Line". He indicated that Bonino's the weak link on that line.

I think he fits that line nicely.

Haglin is redonkulous fast.

Some players are at their best when they play with quality players. Chemistry.

Yes. Putting players in a position to succeed. Valuable lesson for any coach to learn.

We r not the Leafs or the same problems.
We were a Presidents trophy & playoff team most years.
Compare the Leafs & Edm for non-playoff teams.
Night & day.

- Nighthawk

We will have the same problems the leafs did for years is what im getting at, so look at mistakes others have made and try not to make them. The leafs and oilers you cant really compare to each other either. You cant compare any team to the oilers nto every day a team gets loaded up with number 1 picks.

Meh Its not as deep as people think. I tend to lean towards Brian Burke's comments on it. There are tiers to this draft.
- thundachunk

Teams always defer to the next yr when having the option about what pick the other team gets. It's like they think that, hey if we win the cup that yr it's gonna be a late pick.
Besides the jackets aren't gonna give up #34 when it's almost assured to be lower the next 2 yrs.

Yes. Kessel too (when he wants to be). You have to be a good skater to keep up with those two.

Edit: another dig at CanuckDon.

Kessel is balding, ditto for Bonino. They should make Haglin get the Lazer hair removal

JB isn't stupid. Its like free money. Take the pick and run. Unless someone throws out a stupid offer.

If I was balding I would do the full shave or at least a really close cut. No point hiding it.

Matt Murray is solid for a 21 year old goaltender

Benning likes a forward? Did he not say if "the" D man (assuming Chycerun) is not available he's gonna take either Tkachuk or Dubois?

Boys it's gonna happen, were getting one of my boys. Either Tkachuk or Chycerun
Sadly I don't think Chirelli is dumb enough to pass on Chycerun

BPA in the top 10 all day long.
- thundachunk

If the draft depth calls for it sure...outside of this years top 3 gonna be tough pickings. If the top 10 was super strong absolutely go BPA but this year I would not be shocked if Benning filled a few needs now that we are outside of top 3

He does what a center should do with those wingers. Be low, toss the puck to one of them on the boards and let them lead the rush, fall in as F3 and try to make a play. He's far and away the best center for Kessel at 5 on 5

Isn't it 16, 17 or 18?
If so it's gonna be 18.

- Bieksa#3

It seems that it gets to about 12, you have a soft teir until about 16/17 or so and then you're into "the rest" of the first round
